Initial Ayurvedic Consult
The initial consult takes about 2 hours with a discussion of your unique physical and psychological constitution, symptoms, medical history, pulse and tongue analysis, current lifestyle to get a complete understanding of your unique needs and the nature of any imbalance.
Amongst other assesments, the initial session includes an assessment of your Ayurvedic constitution, known as Prakriti. Prakriti is the proportionate strength of each of the doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) that give rise to the unique person that you are. It is said that the Prakriti never changes. Knowledge of your Prakriti allows you to better care for yourself, understand which foods and cooking methods are best for you, how to stay in balance throughout the year and through each stage of life. It also helps us to predict and prevent health issues, and how to better manage the imbalances you currently have.

INSURANCE
We only accept payments from your Health Care Savings Plan which most employees may contribute their pre tax dollars to. Even though the National Ayurveda Board is engaged with insurance companies, at this time Insurance companies do not recognize Ayurveda. Our hope is more clients like you will ask for Insurance support from your provider so they realize the health benefits of this timeless Science.
INITIAL CONSULT
The cost of the initial consult with Dr Ajita Patel is $251 and $101 with our Practitioners who have graduated from IAM. The Initial consult is a complete personal assessment which take around 2 hours.
FOLLOW UP CONSULTS?
Follow up consults cost $101 with Dr Ajita and $60 with our practitioners who have graduated from IAM. These consults are for clients to integrate our recommendations, return with new insights and observations, and delve deeper into creating balance. The Practitioner may adjust and add to current recommendations or address new health concerns. Follow-up consultations are one half-hour to an hour in length.
FOLLOW UP CONSULTS?
Based on your diagnosis, you may be recommended Herbs or other practices such as Ayurvedic Body Therapies, Yoga, Reiki or Herbs. The cost of these are on our Body Therapies tab at our website.
